Hi Everyone! I know that it's been awhile since I posted, and I'm sorry about that! I got wrapped up in the holidays and all of that, I'm sure you know how that is! I've still got some more changes to push (mostly related to categories and user profiles) that should fix a lot of the existing problems, but I wanted to make a post about an opening as a PHP Programmer position! PHP Programmer Squiby is an exciting site site within the top adoptable sites on the internet. You would have a chance to work with exciting technologies including:
If you have any experience in the above, or would like to learn, please write me an email at keith@ subeta.net with Squiby PHP Programmer in the title!Note: This is a volunteer position, and you will not be compensated. It is a great learning experience though! In the event that Squiby creates a positive cash flow, it is possible to renegotiate a payment. |

*claps* Finally, whoo! Really hope someone volunteers. I would, but I don't know much PHP, I'm still working on HTML and CSS. But I'm sure someone around here could do it. Right, guys? *looks around with hopeful eyes* |

| I'm right in the middle of learning PHP, actually, but I can send a link of this thread to somebody else, who has actually finished learning PHP and see if they're interested :) |

An exciting site site? What's a site site? :D I keed~ I'll try and contact some of my friends who might be interested/able to do this. I'd like to help out but my strengths are art and biology, not exactly relevant. |

| You have to do all the programming yourself currently, right, Keith? I hope we get a volunteer, as it seems to be too much for a single person to manage. |

| Hello! I hope you have found a PHP Programmer volunteer! : ) I must say that I miss this site. And have had quite a few artists make me pets....that I will now never see or get on here, since they have moved on and abandoned this broken site. I will not even name the crazy amount of money I had given to DeviantArt, in order to buy Premium Memberships and also buy tons of Points to give in payment to artists to make me cute art. (lets just say there are a few people who won't have to buy Premium till 2013!) Money that I could have spent HERE instead...if there was a Point like system in place to pay artists to make stuff.......Anyway! I hope someone volunteers...and if the Paypal button to DONATE to the site was ever bothered to be done, there would have been money to pay someone. Amazingly there is more adults on here....or rather WAS.....than young kids. And many of us would be okay donating to a site that would be attended to, and not an left in the state it is. |

At this point, I think the members themselves would like to offer a monetary donation to the any PHP programmer. We obviously love this site and as bragbrassed said, there are many adults on here willing to pay to get the site back to it's former glory. @ Keith: I was going to make flyers about this position and tape them up around the College of Technology at my university, but I decided I should probably ask you if that's okay with you first. The advanced courses require students to create a website with a number of features and many of the students are already very well versed in coding. If you don't mind having a couple of classes-worth of students working on this, I'd be more than happy to pass this opportunity on to some professors I know. Is this okay with you?--Dragon Mage |

| Dragon Mage, that's a very kind offer. You might have better luck e-mailing Keith about it at the e-mail he listed in the post. I don't think he checks in here. |

Good luck! I can imagine it will be hard to find somebody with the knowledge and the will to work on it in their free time without any compensation.. Nevertheless, I hope that you can manage it until then, Keith. There are a lot of bugs anf features which need to be fixed/added still. |
