Create a squiby, beginners tutorial. The program used in this tutorial is Pixlr, it is a free online drawing program. Pixlr: LINK Have you every wanted to make your own squiby, but felt like you don't have enough drawing skills or don't have the drawing program or tools needed? You do not have to feel like that at all! All you really need is this free online drawing program/app LINK , your computer mouse and know that squiby is not only for good artists, squiby is for everyone to be able to make their own pets, no matter the drawing skill level. Your first squiby should look a little bad, then you have something to work on and get better. Remember! You are not allowed to upload others art on squiby! So no uploading others drawings to this program to trace or edit, You have to draw everything yourself! ![]() ![]() Extra, two part image tutorial: ![]() How to create a spoiler tutorial: ![]() To show the spoiler you have to upload it to the internet. You can create yourself an account on DeviantArt if you want to, but it's a little bit complicated. An easier thing to do is use imgur, it's easy to register and easy to upload. All you do is click Register, Fill in the registration form. Then set the privacy to private, Privacy options, so that the images can only be found with your links to it. And then upload your image from your computer, just click the button that says Computer. Now you can make a link to your spoiler, you can have the link in your profile, species thread and the Adopt page for the pet. Copy the Direct link url and paste it in this html code, where it says DIRECTLINK: <a href="DIRECTLINK">SPOILER</a> Copy and paste this code where you want the spoiler link. -To add it to the pets adopt page, click on edit creation in the top orange menu bar. Edit the pet you want the spoiler link in and paste the spoiler code in the pets Description. -To add the spoiler link to your profile, click the edit profile button on your profile and paste in the spoiler code. -If you have a species thread, edit the post and paste in the spoiler code. Now you have a spoiler and a link to it so people can see what your pet will look like when fully evolved. :) Help me! Can you see typos or badly written lines in this tutorial? tell me so I can fix it :) Want to help me translate this tutorial to other languages? Send me a mail. Some typos fixed with help from: Killix Tips: -If you can't upload a squiby, the load bar just loads forever. Make the description very short, example only write "edit" and edit in the description text later. -If you only have one stage or two stage pet, upload it mutable times to fill all of the upload windows. Example: Screenshot -If you are 100% sure you have saved the file as png, but squiby says it's not. and when you look at the file on your computer, it looks blank. This is a bug with the pixlr site, where it forgets to add the .png in file name. This you can add your self and that fixes it. Example: mini tutorial My squiby profile: LINK Photoshop advanced tutorial: LINK Ping me!if you post questions here! |

@ elen89Lots of typos. XD "so you get used to it's lines" = Should be "its" because it's is a contraction of "it is" "it will create an gradient" = "a gradient" "make things blury with the blur tool and sharpe with the sharpen tool" = Should be "blurry" and "sharp" "when editing photo's" = Should be "photos" with no apostrophe "Drags out or in the image within a sirkle" = "circle" "the small and big piramids" = "pyramids" "is the drawings real size" = "drawing's" Opacity is how transparrent your layer is" = "transparent" "or like the layer is poping out of the image" = "popping" "very usefull" = "useful" "keeps the proportions intakt" = "intact" "without destorting the image" = "distorting" "and is therefor blue" = "therefore" "the canvas will be made lager" = yum, the canvas turns into lager. "larger" "Now you can delete the backgruound layer" = "background" "Your image should look like this, with all these gray and hvite squares" = "white" "imagne your creature" = "imagine" |

@ CloudpathSheCatDraw one that's wide enough to do it, resize it to 170x110, then use whatever tool you can/want to cut it perfectly in half (both parts should end up being 85x110). Make sure they line up correctly, then upload the first half first and the second part next. Uploading's the same as always. |

@ CloudpathSheCatNot sure, I don't use it. You might be able to do it with the crop tool though. Worth a try. |
