Newborns can only see in the visible spectrum but as they grow up their other eyes fully develop and open, allowing them to see in infrared and ultraviolet spectrums as well.They do not have very interesting markings in the visible spectrum, their true patterns can only be seen in he so called "blue range" of combined visible, IR, and UV sights.
