Kove-Melanistic Uncommon
The kove is a tree climbing canid, more felid in structure than canine. Also commonly called 'tree wolves' or 'lemur dogs', they hunt and sleep on the ground, but other than that can almost indefinitely be found within the trees. This particular specimen is a rare melanistic kove. It has an abundance of melanin, causing it to appear black. If looked at in the right light, its spots can still show through.
