Jecht was a major Blitzball player back in his hometown Zanarkand and a father, the only family, of Tidus, whom he loved dearly but couldn't express it well. in FFX, during his Blitzball training he was touched by the mystic creature Sin, and was transported to the other world of Spira. In order to get back to the world he belonged to, he decides to accompany with Braska, Yuna's father, as his guard. He succeeds in defeating Sin, however, became the core body of its incarnation, thus burdens the fate of grudge.
