The Giant Basilisks of Serpente river are a species of semi-aquatic Giant Lizards (Tiger sized) that resemble basilisks. They may be distantly related to earth basilisks. The females lack large sails on their backs and tails and have a diminished crest on their head. They are smaller and more dull colored than males.
