Burning Egg
When hatched, these dragons have red markings all over their bodies. When they get older, markings gradually begin to disappear, making new unique patterns until only their eyes glow red. In the last 24 hours of a their life (estimated lifespan is over 1500 years), their eyes begin to shift color, from red to bright orange, then yellow, and last, white. When all the colour is gone, the dragon dies. Sometimes, when a new dragon is born, it glows entirely red without even a slightest hint of black. In rare occasions, they stay that way the rest of their lives and can't die naturally from old age or sickness. They are considered to be blessed by the gods, even though some think it's more like a curse.
